Vinicius Jr Offers Sincere Sorry to The Madrid Club Fans
The forward has netted 5 strikes in ten Spanish league matches during the current campaign.
The Madrid giants winger Vinicius Jr has said sorry to fans for his response when substituted in the recent fiery match against Barcelona triumph.
The Brazilian was replaced in the 72nd minute and showed his disappointment by heading directly off the pitch.
Vinicius subsequently came back to the dugout and, following his side's 2-1 victory, tried to confront the opposition's youngster Yamal during unpleasant post-match scenes.
"Now I want to express regret to all the supporters for my reaction when I was substituted in the Clasico," he posted on X.
"Similarly to I have already done during this morning's training, I wish to express regret anew to my colleagues, the team, and the leadership.
"Occasionally fervor overcomes me because I always want to win and help my club. My winning mentality originates in the affection I feel for this team and all it symbolizes."
Vinicius moved to the Spanish capital from Brazil in 2018 for £38.7m and has scored 111 goals in more than 300 games.
But his future in the La Liga is unclear with speculation in recent months suggesting that Real would contemplate permitting the young star move on if they were to receive a suitable offer.
When Vinicius was substituted on Sunday, cameras from broadcaster the service captured him saying: "Again me! I'm exiting the club! It's wiser if I depart, I'm moving on."
In his new message on social media, the athlete commented: "I commit to keep fighting at all times for the good of Los Blancos, as I have done since the very beginning."
